Selina-3,7(11)-diene is the essential oil found commonly in hops, which is found in many alcoholic beverages. It is also found in celery seeds and liverwort.(1) It is known for its woody and herbal aromas. This is often referred to as the “unknown” terpene as there is little data and research done. Selina-3,7(11)-diene is often found in cannabis in larger quantities than any other plant.
